This Privacy Policy explains how Trivia Showdown collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app through Discord.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the app through Discord, we may receive limited information from Discord that is necessary for the app to function, including:

Your Discord user ID.
Your Discord username or display name.
Your Discord avatar, if provided by Discord.
The Discord server, channel, or activity session where the app is being used.
Gameplay data such as player names, scores, buzzes, wagers, answers, game state, and selected question boards.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as payment details, government identification, precise location, health information, or private Discord messages.

2. User-Provided Content

The app may allow users to create, upload, import, or share custom question boards and other game content. This content may include text, images, links, clues, answers, and category names.

You should not upload personal information, confidential information, or content you do not have permission to use.

We use information only as needed to:

Run multiplayer trivia games.
Identify players during a game session.
Display usernames, avatars, scores, buzzes, answers, and game progress.

Game session data may be stored temporarily to allow active games to function or be restored after disconnections. Custom boards or imported content may be stored if the app supports saving them.
